Traditional healers have a crucial role to play in the health of Aboriginal people by strengthening and supporting people that are living with HIV/AIDS. The tradition/culture and ceremonies deal with the mental, emotional and spiritual, while the Western medicine will deal with the physical through principles of science, technology and knowledge. A combination of the two different methods can provide balance and alternative ways to a healing journey.

 

Who should attend? Frontline workers, professionals, students, youth, healers, therapists, people living with HIV/AIDS, addictions counselors, chiefs, council members, physicians and any community member who wants to make a difference.

Conference Registration Cancellations, Refunds and Substitution Policy

Cancellation with a refund for the conference registration will be accepted in writing up to November 15, 2011 and will be subject to an administration fee of 25% which will be deducted from the refund amount.

After November 15, 2011: there will be no refunds for cancelled registration or "no shows" (failure to attend) for the conference. This includes persons who register and pay in full, but do not attend the conference.

Substitutions will be permitted until November 25, 2011. All cancellations or substitutions for the conference must be submitted in writing to the ANHAN office c/o the ANHAN Planning Committee or emailed to allnationshope@sasktel.net.

For those that register but are paying at the door, you will be charged regular registration fees.

Registration includes nutrition breaks, lunch and a banquet ticket.
